7 April 2025 on the occasion of World Health Day
The institute of Child Neurosciences (ICON) inaugurated its dedicated Parental Support Group for Children with Autism. This initiative reflects the Academy’s continued commitment to promoting child neurological health and empowering families navigating neurodevelopmental conditions. The support group aims to serve as a compassionate and informed forum where parents can share experiences, gain guidance from pediatric neurologists and therapists, and access evidence-based resources for their child’s development.
The inaugural session saw active participation from pediatric neurologists, developmental specialists, parents, and caregivers. Discussions focused on early intervention strategies, communication support, behavioral therapies, and the importance of community networks in fostering progress.
The launch marks a meaningful step toward building a supportive ecosystem for families, reducing stigma, and enhancing the quality of life for children with autism across Rajasthan.
