The Institute of Child Neurosciences (ICON Foundation) organized a highly informative Seizure Essentials Workshop on 10th October 2025 at Hotel Gloria Inn, Bhilwara. The workshop aimed to enhance Epilepsy Awareness and improve clinical understanding among pediatricians. It served as an academic platform to strengthen knowledge in Pediatric Neurology and practical Seizure Management for children.
The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including Childhood Seizures, Genetic Epilepsy, Neonatal Seizures, and the importance of EEG in Seizures. Experts discussed the latest updates on Anti-Seizure Drugs and highlighted the role of Neuroimaging in Epilepsy, emphasizing early diagnosis and evidence-based treatment approaches.
An in-depth session on Epilepsy Classification provided clarity on modern diagnostic frameworks, while discussions on Child Neurology Training and Pediatricians Education highlighted the need for continued professional learning.
The workshop concluded with a Valedictory and Feedback Session, receiving enthusiastic appreciation from participating pediatricians for its practical, evidence-based learning.
The event was successfully conducted under the leadership of Dr. Atul Heda, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Rajpoot, and Dr. Prashant Agal, with coordination by Dr. Varnit Shanker.
